Who is Consulting Donath?
Christian Donath studied civil engineering at the Technical University of Braunschweig. After his studies, he gained practical experience in the construction industry for over eight years. He worked in various fields of design, construction and management on projects in Germany and abroad. During the last years his focus shifted more and more from project management to innovative construction and sustainable building.
From 2008 until February 2010 he was CEO of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB), where he decisively participated in the development and implementation of the German sustainable building certificate (DGNB) and the related education program.
He represented the DGNB nationally and internationally and developed a widespread international network of partners. In 2009 he was appointed to the board of the World Green Building Council (WGBC).
Christian Donath developed extensive market knowledge and a large network due to the intensive contact to the wide range of stakeholders from the real estate market, the construction industry, politics, universities and interest groups. He is internationally known as a representative for "Sustainable Construction". His knowledge is based on broad practical experience in the construction industries.
